Tango from Argentina (May 6, 2004)
The Danskaravaan opened with an effervescent Tango show performed by the Argentinean
dancing couples Ezequiel & Sabrina and Capussi & Flores.
Especially for the Danskaravaan, they choreographed a theatrical evening performance
on the history of the Tango. The audience danced well into the night to the
music of Tango Dorado.
Hungarian dance (May 7, 2004)
Sador Kutti, Attila Jakab, Scrogi and Novak Craba and Franki Lato came straight
from Budapest to play their traditional Roma jazz and folk music from the
Balkans.
Their dancers performed the Transylvanian Csarda and Csingarales.
European and American dance (May 8, 2004)
Angolan dancer Rosa Maria gave a performance for women, followed
by a workshop and a Turkish DJ-show. In the evening Ezequil and Sabrina conducted
a tango workshop. Veronica Bellon gave a performance, followed by Jorge and
Vanessa. Then Ezequil and Sabrina danced three impressive tangos and as an
encore they performed together with Jorge and Vanessa. The Tango Dorado Orchestra
played for an enthusiastic tango loving audience!
Irish tap & Zydeco (September 13, 2004)
Nathalie d’Aragon and her partner conducted the Zydeco workshop, followed by an Irish tap dance workshop. In the evening both the Irish tap dance school The Hague and Nathalie d’Aragon and her partner gave performances. The Irish orchestra Bradley Bunch provided the music for the dance party!
